Retainer and Payment Schedule
All cake requests, including wedding & corporate events, require a 50% non-refundable Retainer and Signed Event Agreement to reserve your event. Final payment is due 7 days after the Retainer is remitted. Full Payment is due if Maison d'Estella was booked within 14 to 30 days or less notice of the Event Date. There will be a $500 Expedite Fee on all reservations booked within 1 to 13 days or less notice of the Event Date.
Delivery and Setup
Event delivery & setup is optional and priced at a one-time flat fee of $150 plus a $35 flat fee for Delivery + $2.25 per every mile over 5 miles of our bakery (one-way), unless otherwise stated by Baker and/or Staff. Please ensure that the cake table is sturdy and not in an area of high traffic. Once the cake has been delivered and set up, we are not responsible for any damages incurred to the cake.
Cake Changes
The date of Final Payment is the final date for any changes of size, style, flavors of the cake, and/or equipment needed. Any changes after this date cannot be guaranteed and may be subject to additional fees.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Standard cake orders may be canceled up to fourteen (14) days prior to the scheduled event date. Clients who cancel within this timeframe will receive a full refund of all payments made, minus a 35% non-refundable booking fee. Cancellations made less than fourteen (14) days before the event date are non-refundable. Clients may reschedule once at no charge with 72 hours' notice, subject to availability. Additional rescheduling requests incur a $30 fee per request. Once production has begun, all payments are non-refundable. All Sales are Final.
Custom Cake Cancellations
Cancellations made within 30 days of the Event Date will result in forfeiture of all payments rendered. Cancellations made within 45 to 90 days prior to the Event Date will receive a refund of all monies paid minus the 50% non-refundable Retainer. No Refunds or Exchanges are offered once production has begun. All Sales are Final.
Late Payment & Non-Payment
Any balance unpaid after the due date may incur a $50 late fee plus $25 per additional day. If payment is not received within 72 hours of the due date, the order will be canceled and all payments forfeited.
Photographs
We reserve the right to photograph your cake for our own reference and promotional use.
Limitation of Liability
Baker is not responsible for damage to the cake caused by the venue, guests, staff, or any person not employed by the Baker after delivery and setup and/or pickup of the cake. Baker's total liability is limited to amounts paid under this Agreement.
